Agreement
By purchasing or using Daytactic ("the Software"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Software and we'll refund you within 14 days of purchase.
License
A Daytactic license grants you the right to install and use the Software on the number of Macs your plan allows (2 for a Pro license), for personal or business use. Licenses are non-transferable except in the case of replacing a Mac you previously activated, which we handle through support.
Updates
Each license includes all updates within the major version purchased (for example, every 1.x release), at no additional cost. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade, discounted for existing license holders; the version you own keeps working whether or not you upgrade.
Free plan and introductory Pro period
The free plan may be used without a time limit, subject to its feature limits, which are described on the pricing page and may change. A new free license includes full access to Pro features for its first 14 days; after that it continues on the free plan, and data created with Pro features remains available but read-only. Each Mac (identified by hardware UUID) is eligible for one introductory Pro period. Attempting to abuse it (multiple emails, key sharing, hardware spoofing) may result in the license being limited or revoked.
Refunds
Full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email support@daytactic.com and we'll process it.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the Software. Don't share license keys or attempt to circumvent license validation. Don't use the Software to violate any law, including any applicable privacy or audio recording law (including obtaining consent before recording calls in jurisdictions that require it).
Liability
The Software is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss. We strongly encourage Time Machine or another backup of your Mac.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the app or email to your purchase address.
